Responsible for all aspects of the business startup, filing of the application for 501(c)3 status, finding a camp location, hiring and staff training, developing camp and school programs, web-site development, fund-raising and marketing including social media advertising and promotion.

Started HI-Tech Smart Systems in Honolulu in 1983 for the purpose of developing software applications for specialty property management businesses. Was responsible for development of software applications, marketing, customer service, personnel development and management and business development. Oversaw personnel in offices in multiple locations in Hawaii, Mainland U.S. and Australia. Partnered with companies in Europe and Asia to sell and support software products.
